Healthy Juicing Recipes

It’s important to note that if you are looking for healthy juicing recipes, you should be looking for juices that taste yummy! Yes, your recipes should not only give you tons of nutrients and phytochemicals they should taste delish too!

When you first start adding juices to your diet, you may not be used to the taste of raw foods, so it will take time for you to adjust to the taste.  When I make juices for people and they are having them for the first time, a lot of people say it tastes like “life.”  My husband actually told me that he can feel the “energy surging through my body!”  That was a great testament because it took me six months to even get him to try one of my favorite recipes!

So here are a couple of healthy juicing recipes to get you started on your way.  These are some of my personal favorite combinations:

BEETROOT JUICEAlso, when you are making your juices, I find it works much better when you “layer” the ingredients or do them in a certain order.  So I list the ingredients in the best order to juice them, and then in the directions below tell you how to juice it up!


Can’t Beet it Juice

  • 1 small piece ginger
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 whole beet
  • 1-1/2 apples
  • 2 large carrots

Directions:  Juice the ginger first, then the lemon, then the beet, then one apple, and then one carrot, then the remaining apple and then the remaining carrot.  Enjoy.


Green Energy

  • 2 stalks kaleGREEN JUICE
  • 2 swiss chard
  • 2 collard greens
  • 1 handful dandelion greens
  • 2 green apples
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 2 carrots

Directions:  Juice the kale, then the swiss chard, then the collard greens, and then the dandelion greens.  Next juice one apple, then one stalk celery and then one carrot, and then the other apple, the other celery and the other carrot.
