How Drinking Diet Soda Can Promote Cancer Growth

The Diet Soda Cancer Connection

If you are drinking even one diet soda a week, you need to be aware of the dangers linked to diet sodas and aspartame.

Aspartame is a common artificial sweetener found in diet soda products.

Aspartame is the most consumed artificial sweetener in the united states.

People have been led to believe that aspartame is safe, but it’s not.  Finally the light is being shed on that horrible lie that has been fueled by the slick marketing tactics of the beverage industry. These tactics prey on the massive desire of people wanting to lose weight.  And companies are leading people to believe that they will lose weight if they drink diet soda.

But as most people who are still struggling to lose weight will tell you, drinking diet soda does not equate to weight loss.

How Drinking Diet Soda Can Promote Cancer Growth

So why is the aspartame contained in diet soda so dangerous?

Aspartame is considered an excitotoxin.  Excitoxins stimulate your brain.

Excitotoxins are a class of chemicals (usually amino acids) that overstimulate neuron receptors. Neuron receptors allow brain cells to communicate with each other, but when they’re exposed to excitotoxins, they fire impulses at such a rapid rate that they become exhausted.

Excitotoxins like aspartame have shown to dramatically promote cancer growth.

According to Dr. Russell Blaylock, author of the book, “Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills,” Excitotoxins have been found to dramatically promote cancer growth and metastasis. In fact, one aspartame researcher noticed that, when cancer cells were exposed to aspartame, they became more mobile, and you see the same effect with MSG.

The dangers of drinking diet soda and its link to disease is now coming to light.  Many many people, including myself, are hoping to see the END of diet soda completely.  There are plenty of natural sweeteners on the market that can be used instead of aspartame, and it’s time that this toxic additive is taken off the market completely!

In the largest study done of it’s kind, The University of Iowa concluded: “…Compared to women who never or only rarely consume diet drinks, those who consume two or more a day are 30 percent more likely to have a cardiovascular event [heart attack or stroke] and 50 percent more likely to die from related disease. Okay, so if you are concerned, and you want to kick this habit immediately, here are some things you can do right away to help you get off the diet soda roller-coaster.

7 Things You Can Do To Help Ditch Diet Soda

  1. Drink water!
  2. Drink more water!
  3. Drink herbal teas
  4. Drink water infused with fruit, i.e., strawberries, mint, lemon, cucumber.  You can make delicious concoctions right in your own kitchen.
  5. Drink lemon water
  6. Make your own “soda” at home using sparkling mineral water, ice and a few drops of a flavored Stevia, like root beer or vanilla
  7. Make your own fresh pressed juices at home with a juicer.

Ultimately, the choice ends with our dollars.  We choose what we want to purchase, and then eat or drink.  If people get educated, informed and angry over the toxic chemicals in our foods, and they stop buying, then there will be no market for trickery!  The fastest way to stop manufacturers from putting excitotoxins like aspartame into our foods is to NOT BUY ANYTHING THAT CONTAINS ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS!

Read labels, and don’t buy if it contains ASPARTAME!

To your health.
Laura.
